The WisDoc Plan
In some sense, Modern Medicine can be said to have begun with Hippocrates in Classical Greek times, in the late 5th century BC. However, with the explosion of medical knowledge (along with most other fields of scientific endeavour) over the last half century, there is also a very real sense in which modern medicine is a much younger discipline. While this proliferation of medical knowledge has brought great benefits, it has also created a new problem - one which is not yet adequately addressed. The sheer volume of new information has not been matched by anything approaching an adequate means of dissemination.
WisDoc addresses that problem - globally, for doctors ( whether specialists or those in primary care ) and for patients, initially for the first world, but later to include the developing world.
Although the WisDoc plan, and the reasons behind its conception, are complex (why has it not been done already ?), when viewed as a series of steps or components, they become much easier to follow.

Instead of doctors and consumers having to search everywhere on the net to collect up to the minute relevant medical information, WisDoc will collect, condense and evaluate it, and integrate it with preexisting information.
